Whether or not you are staying away, you should read Michael Crichton's
"State of Fear" - while it doesn't apply much to plate theory, it
addresses the sale of global warming to the public with some eye-opening
stats. Good read. And yes, my "pet" is now whining about her medical
conditions in other froups and using only "C" as a signature. I haven't
been letting her in the house lately, as she seems to have an abnormal
infestation of fleas and a strange skin condition that the vet is
treating her for. He seems quite disgusted by her and last time I took
her for a shot he made me muzzle her. Said, "Little bitch likes to bite,
don't she?" Well of course she does. Perhaps Dr. Killborn is more
studied in strange skin conditions.

As a matter of fact, Swamprat used to have the same condition. It's
nothing a good anti-fungal bath and some Frontline won't cure.
