There is no danger in "just stopping" either the Peg-IFN or the Ribavirin,
aside from wrecking any chance of beating the virus...

If I had to stop the treatment... and started it again in a year from now...
would the medicne still have the same affect on me?

Most likely, yes, unless you currently are burdened with some other, transient
condition that is modifying the effects of the combo therapy.

How long have you been on-therapy?
