Lyme had nothing to do with her mental state.

My response: The large group is the newsgroup "ActionLyme", which Kathleen
founded and directed. At one time there were are a large number of educated
accomplished Lyme activists who shared information and accomplished a great
deal in changing the political climate. As for Lyme influencing Kathleen's
mental state, a great many of us who have neurologic Lyme know how strongly it
affects us, even with medication. We don't know if Kathleen was under the care
of a doctor. While neither of us knows the truth in Kathleen's case, I think
Lyme, almost by definition affects patients' mental state. When I knew her a
few years ago she was rational, organized, productive, and extremely
knowledgable. Bob
