Visting San Dimas--how to protect against Lyme?

Hello, I will be visiting some relatives who moved to San Dimas, CA. Looking
at a Lyme map it is moderate risk. I do not plan on going in the woods,
though I do have to visit someone in Mt. Baldy for a day. Reading about Lyme
is really scary to me, I live in a city right now no where near any
forrests. Thanks for the advice.
