Ticks are worldwide. You haven't explained why barefooted nearly naked
South American and Mexican Indians in the high rockies have not
succumbed to Lyme Disease??? In fact, the Mexican Indians from Northern
Mexico run a 100-mile foot race in Silverton, Colorado every year and
win the first three places. They aren't sick from tick bites, and if
anyone should be, it certainly should be them. If you don't believe me,
contact the Silverton Chamber of Commerce. They sponsor the race every
year.
