Usually herxes give terrible neurological symptoms.
Lowering the dosage below 1500 mg/day is not a good idea.
Making yourself "comfortable" on abx. is not a good idea when you have Lyme.

The goal is to kill as much bacteria as you can survive.
That is not done by lowering dosages until you don't feel significant
killoff effects.

And another thing: Dosages are not dependent on the doctor, or the person
(apart from the person's weight).
Dosages are solely dependent on what the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration of
that antibiotic is for Borreliæ, in relation to your body weight and the
level of blood-brain barrier penetration of that antibiotic in relation to
how much Borreliæ are suspected to reside in your central nervous system.

Dosages are NOT dependent on how well you "tolerate" an antibiotic, or "what
your doctor thinks".
