At least in MY opinion.
Query: Has ANYONE EVER tested negative for ANYTHING there?
Please see the "Bowen healing method" too. And consider it when
evaluating the crediblity overall of this lab.
Also: It is my understanding that the lab claims to have obtained a
license and CLIA certification. What this means, if true, is that they
comply with a certain set of standards for laboratories. This does not
validate their testing as I understand it, but rather the facility
meets certain standards. So there are performance standards that must
be met not specific to a test but testing overall (e.g, is the
microscope used calibrated properly) and certain overall quality
control measures that must be met at a minimum.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong or someone provide a more complete
explanation if one exists.
Here is the official CLIA website:
http://www.cms.hhs.gov/clia/default.asp?
I don't know what validation they claim for their testing other than
Lida Mattman agreeing with their positive results but then again she
thinks all results are positive so, what does that mean?
I find it very dubious that they CHARGE a "donation"
Donations by their very nature are voluntary. Query: If a sample is
sent without a "donation" do they perform the test (NO). SO how can
this be a "donation." It isn't. It is a CHARGE. And they are NOT so
far as I know legally permitted to charge for this testing.
Lida Mattman did this too. So did Gensys.
Very disturbing.
And I am even more disturbed that "llmds" have do and continue to make
diagnoses on the basis of this dubious and unproven testing. They did
the same with Mattman and Gensys. This smacks of using a lab because
it gives you the results you want. And adds nothing even clinically to
the basis for diagnosis.
Note: I think that doctors go out on a real limb using this to
"document" a patient's diagnosis.
Since we've been discussing legislation, and Greg if you are reading
this, do you think this adds to documentation of a "clinical"
diagnosis and would shield a doctor from discipline? Do you think that
it should?
I don't. In fact given the history of reliance on such dubious testing
(I'm not talking about IGenex or MDlabs or BBI even) it is disturbing
that a doctor would be shielded from discipline.
I also note in the same vein that nothing in the PA Lyme bill, or any
other, shields a doctor from malpractice suits. And that since a
finding of malpractice can be used under some state codes as a basis
for discipline, this avoids the (dubious) protections of the bill
preventing discipline solely on the basis of Rxing for Lyme--the basis
would be a finding or multiple findings of malpractice, but the
essence of the complaint would be the same thing and as Sir Der points
out, that isn't the SOLE basis anyway.
