Yes, well, unfortunately Greg responded to what I didn't say
again...and you seem to have followed him on it.

I am trying to address a fundamental problem of politics here...I am
not questioning the need for independent fund-raising...which I think
is a great idea...

...but has some limitations...as I said, you have the "taint" of
pre-paid research.

Ironically, the supremely dominant position of Steere et al sort of
now begs for a "second opinion".

You also have the problem of poor public awareness of Lyme, small
numbers, and the fact that most of us need our money for insurance (if
we can get it) and medicines...and oh, hey, doctors visits ain't
cheap, either.

So...attack both.

But what I am saying is that legislation is the wrong way...NO.

Don't waste political capital on this nonsense.
