How so? The closest I saw to this was a day or so before...there was a
post suggesting that the governor was "threatening" to veto...and that
VERY posting urged people to call again...even from other
countries...multiple times...WHY?
Greg...think about what you are saying, please... if the bill was most
likely going to be vetoed...WHY urge people to take a completely futile
action?
"Instead, you are saying something else -- that those who requested the
calls lied by misrepresenting the situation, and that isn't true".
Not really, Greg. What I am saying is that they weren't ENTIRELY
forthcoming...IF they knew...and I don't know this...then WHY all the
calls to action, Greg? It's logically inconsistent, Greg.
I DID NOT SAY THEY LIED. Please STOP inserting words in my mouth. It's
called "covering your ass"...and I don't know if it actually happened
here, or not...but I am getting the impression that you really DON'T
understand what I am talking about.
I said they MAY have been "dishonest". I said that because IF they knew
that the Guv was going to tube it...and didn't say so...then they were
DISHONEST...in not telling all information that they should have
revealed.

Is that a fact? So...you can show me where they were saying that Guv is
going to most likely tube this sucker...but we want you to kick in
anyway? Please do so...I'd like to see it.

Good for you. Read over at Lymenet? Not only did a lot of them not "get
it"...but there is some real hostility showing now.
Remember the discussion some of us had awhile ago about the increasing
radicalization of Lyme politics?
Well, take a look...and try to figure out why these people are so
pissed off right now. They were mislead on several fronts...not the
least of which was that this was a "Lyme" bill.
" You keep arguing that those in charge here either did not comprehend
the situation or lied".
No, Greg, I most assuredly did NOT say they LIED. Please try to be a
little more careful with this sort of thing. Please. If you don't
understand...then just ask me to explain.
"I do not think that either is true".
GG
Well, Greg...then explain it to me...(other than the lying
part)...because all I can see is either they were virtually
clueless...or they were encouraging Lyme patients to a path that was a
complete waste of time...and effort...and emotion...
...other than to stir up indignation directed at Pataki and blame him
for the veto of "our" bill.
