I removed my posts so they would not be archived here, obviously.

I stand by what I said. I will say it again:

I agree that the OPMC bill marches to the FAIM Agenda, and I agree that
FAIM has been able to marshal the large grass roots of Lyme activism to
support the FAIM agenda (which lacked its own grassroots) without
doing that much for Lyme, specifically, in return. Moreover, I agree
that associating the Lyme agenda with the FAIM agenda is troubling for
the reasons you said. I have said many of those things many times
myself, possibly to you (though I honestly don't know who you are in
this alias you have here) but also to many others, including those who
fervently support the bill.

HOWEVER, I do not agree that those who support this bill see it this
way --period. I do NOT agree that they agree with the points above and
are moving forward anyway. Instead, I am quite certain they think
differently, and it is their personal beliefs and vision that drive
their actions. I believe that they believe what they are doing is in
the best interests of Lyme patients, and they have arguments for that.
Clearly, many have been convinced, even if not you or I. Many very
smart people agree with them and strongly support the bill and the
alliance with FAIM.

Moreover, I myself agree there's some good in the bill, particularly in
terms of inclusion of peer-reviewed research which, while allowed for
Burrascano and Orens, was not guaranteed. The GUARANTEE will be
helpful. Without inclusion of peer review, Burrascano might never have
survived.

To wit: I do not believe there is any lying going on. I continue to
think that their posts are clear to anyone who has been following this.
Taken out of context, there might be some confusion. But in context, it
seems clear to me. As dertritteman has noted, I have repeated myself
endlessly, but only in response to endlessly repetitive challenges.

As to my personal agenda, which you have questioned: I am just giving
my opinion based on my personal experience, that's all. If anyone has
an agenda, it's you. I think my position is far more in balance than
yours. GG
