isn't this article really old and irrelevant to the scene today?
Reliance on IV antibiotics is not generally an issue these days,
given all the new oral abx now on the scene that penetrate BBB and
intracellular spaces, etc. Why confuse the issue with old information
and an out-of-date debate? There is enough to discuss of current
relevance without tossing dated material into the hopper. GG
