it is true that the results of this study were entirely predictable,
and were predicted even by those who cooperated, citing an inexplicable
faith that this was just the first step --and that this was a hoop they
needed to jump through for other studies up the road. That the hoop was
really a noose should have been plainly visible, but that level of what
can only be called betrayal was hard for some to fathom. This is one of
the most outrageous chapters in the entire history of the Lyme debacle.
As to Phyllis, I will defer to her --I hope she will step up here and
post some of the statements that I was aware of her making at the time.
She DID protest loudly after the fact, Weisman. Let's see if she can
provide us with the material and links. GG
