Attacks on Zip Zip

Ok so zip zip is now under attack on the LymeNUT board. This really
merits a sociological/psychological study!

Anyway, you'll see from this and the follow up threads or related
threads I'm going to post, that zip is suspected of being, variously:

o a troll (oh my);

o a NY MD who isn't an "llmd";

o a Female psychiatrist? LOOL;

o some sort of researcher or scientist because he or she dares to speak
with some intelligence and knowledge;

o against Lymies and llmds (though why exactly is unclear);

It is just amazing. Oh yeah, and zip zip DARED to attack "good posters"
and god forbid tinass (that freaking hillbilly moron).

Amazingly no one has (yet) accused him of being me, or arinelli or
chuck p adams or mcsweegan.

And the LymeNUTTER's "troll patrolers" are busy ferreting out the
suspected trolls, busily looking up all their past postings, "outing"
them for the dissenters they are, and censoring the board to be rid of
anyone who doesn't preach from the same page in their hymnal!

Sort of reminds me of the twilight zone episode where a bunch of
neighbors start to suspect each other of something unstated and the
whole town goes nuts!

Hey zipzip, I'm wondering if you can tell us/email me what your story
is. We recently had a somewhat unpleasant exchange. I searched the
archives and notice that you seem to possess extensive medical and
scientific knowledge yet deny that you are a scientist/ doctor. I
couldn't find any post in which you specifically detailed your lyme
history, only dozens of posts in which you answered other people's
questions. Since you don't allow the email link, I'm asking you
now...who are you, what's your story. What do you do for a living, etc.
I want to know what your specific history is...how long you've been
ill, all the regimens you've been through, etc. You've extensively read
the literature about lyme, and have understood it. But I can't help but
notice that when you first appeared in sept. 04 there was no "hey guys,
it's me, this is what I've been through" which is what a new member
normally would say at some point. Maybe you've been on the board before
under a different screen name. If so, who were you?
I would have just emailed this to you, but you've disabled that option
and I'm wondering why. Surely you have an email address.

my personal life, and all the trimmings, is just that... personal.
i've been unfortunately ill for 2.5 years, Lyme was diagnosed 1 yr ago.

i am not a doctor.

Zipzip is not the only one on this board without a posted history or in
a few cases a most vague story to tell and no email to boot.

It's not the extensive medical background/knowledge that piques my
interest, but when the word "we" instead of "I" is used.

Even though my eye sight right now and for the past year has not been
good, my memory has improved. I try to read every post and just lately
have been able to answer a few.

I have to admit, I'm curious...about both of you.
I don't care where anyone lives and I don't want to send anyone an
email or anything like that. What I would like to know is an
educational background. Some things are coming across as just a bit too
authoritative for people who have only been here a short time AND who
claim no scientific background. THAT is what has had me curious for a
good while now.

Frankly, considering the topics on this board, I don't think it is too
personal to ask esp of those who are expressing themselves with such an
authoritative voice. I had to take a break for a long time due to
computer problems. When I returned and tried to answer some posts, I
was slammed several times until I finally spoke up and expressed my
annoyance. After that, things stopped so I made my piece with the past
comments. However, I still continue to wonder because when I looked at
the history and the writing, things just don't add up...

I'm not trying to 'out' anyone or anything but I am admiting that I am
curious as well.

i'm a nice person but i'm throwing the p.c. posturing out the window
for this post.

the anti-intellectual attitude on this board sometimes borders on
straight up xenophobia.

there is no 'big brother' here. get real.

my articulation of scientific & medical ideas is nothing more than the
comprehension of interaction with my doctors and my ability to research
and read information readily available on the internet to anyone.

my email is personal and not public information. i don't list my
telephone number in the yellow pages either.

there are no lymenet bylaws stating that anyone who wants to join the
community has to disclose any information of a personal nature
whatsoever.

my old handle/username was mcpucho and i was called a stinky, little
troll (and decided upon that i was a female pyschiatrist for no
apparent reason) so i exercised my right to register under a new name.

furthermore the stress of rooting out 'undesirables' is detrimental to
beneficial healing, both on a personal and group level.

enough said... this is juvenille and inane.

Opinions should be taken as opinions. No resume required. My first
round of docs where professors at a major universiity and im sure had
great paper credentials. They couldnt help diagnose me.

You should take all info given and make up your own mind.

I was suspicious of Zip. Something didn't ring true there. So before

What really was a red flag was when she told TINCUP that her activism
post was in the wrong Forum (it was about travel advisory). What gall.

I could give you blatant examples of made-up half-truths she doled out
in the beginning------won't bore you.

I still believe she is a "traditional" NEW YORK M.D.

She's endeared herself to many & then later, she shows who she really
is. She twists everyone's words around & uses them against them.

Riversinger e-mailed me about Rashilnov (sp.) because she said
California has tried to help him. He refuses help. So I thought I'd
pass this on.

I've told COL, Guiney, & Texans ----Jo3 & James. I'm pretty sure Guiney
called TINCUP & told her.

If someone does a troll alert, the troll will turn it around on them &
make them look like the bad guy. She's pure evil.

Her early stuff is really made up------bigtime; about camping outside
the walls of the Queen of England's palace (from Matthew Goss' post).

The dangerous part is that it's very subtle in some posts, but her real
loyalties are there------against Lymies & LLMDs.

She doesn't have LD. She has no heart for sick folks.

Just a heads up.

People can say I'm immature (I am), but folks like ZZ shouldn't have
the privilege of posting on Lymenet with blatant lies.

zipzip is posting decent and useful information. zipzip is very OK.
I really can't believe all these accusations and paranoia on this
messageboard. It could be due to Lyme, which can cause violent
thoughts, paranoia and other psychiatric symptoms.
