I agree that Westen medicine is far more powerful
than the others. But many times it is very wrong,
exagerated or delivered improperly. Because it is so powerful,
its mistakes often have disasterous consequences. And so many
of its doctors carry on as if it (and they) were perfect.
My point though is about people left desperate by conventional medicine
and the lenghts they are willing to go to regain quality lives. They
(we) are
going to try things, including trials of new medicines, most of which
wont work.
But when they do, and that's real, they better themselves and
open new doors for everyone. The fringe is always where life is most
interesting.
And I include psychic stuff in all that. Edgar Cayce's work stands out.

There is so much we don't understand.
A couple of people here, Weisman and Rita, seem determined to save
"Lymeland's" desperate from experimentation, mostly because, as
credentialed
professionals, they are embarassed by it. It "demeans" Lymeland.
I disagree. To just sit back and live and die sick would truely demean
us.
We are just like other desperate people with other illnesses, we insist
on our right to
experimentation. And we are not stupid--we have our reasons when we try

something. Keep in mind here that the culprit here is conventional
medicine.
At this point in my life, I have concluded that no one, no one,
understands Chronic Lyme.
If I want to try silver, its none of anyone else's business. Their
degrees are just paper
to me, and their lectures are egomanical bullshit.
