Here's another "charming" thread from the FLASH board.

Though it is so "awful" for us to post criticisms of what goes on over
there, we're referred to as "the dumspter" (and this isn't the first
time).

I'm accused of having a "teeny weenie" (very mature!). And of not being
willing to debate in an "open forum." Which is absurd because THIS is
usenet, unmoderated and uncensored. Nothing more OPEN than
this--certainly NOT the FLASH board which everyone knows is censored
routinely.

Oh yes and this "expert" proclaims me to be McSweegan though I am not
and have often been openly critical of him. This "alligondo bruce" is
permitted his opinions but mine are "a vested interest in the LD
debate."

Oh yes and this person who knows nothing about me and knows nothing
about my medical history presumes to pronounce me as not having and
never having had Lyme.

Now isn't that just what Lyme patients hate? Being told they don't have
Lyme?

And if that person wants to have a debate or discussion in an OPEN
FORUM let them come here and rather than presuming they know anything
about me based on incomplete information, I'll be happy to debate and
discuss any topic with them. Or they can read all my posts rather than
people saying what I say, they can see what I say myself.

See it isn't what Lisa aka lymeraja aka (too many sockpuppet names to
list) or anyone else SAYS that I say that counts. It is what I say that
I say.

It isn't who people SAY that I am and who I am doesn't even matter.
What I say is what matters. And for the record I say what I think.

If you want to debate someone else, such as McSweegan, go ahead and
write to HIM. THere's no sense in debating me about it. Or insisting
based on absolutely nothing that I am him. In fact it is so absurd as
to make Lyme patients who insist upon out to be the paranoids that
McSweegan and Shapiro and Sigal and others say that they are.

And PLEASE it is not useful to confuse positions related as my
positions. Often times I am saying that we need better responses
because THIS IS WHAT Steere and others say and we need to be able to
respond to their criticisms--that doesn't mean that I agree with them,
it means that I am urging us to respond in a rational fashion. These
are devil's advocate positions, which should help people make better
arguments.

So if anyone wants to come here and dicuss, debate, have an open
exchange of ideas without censorship, they should be welcome. But
please don't come here and attack and then complain that someone
attacks back. And don't expect that we'll always agree. Expect that
there will be vigorous debate but that such debate is not personal
criticism or attack. It is critique. And our critics ARE our friends,
they show us our faults (and permit us to be improve in response)

I checked out the dumpster. Apparently weisman, who is a cowardly fool,
has established a tiny province in which he desperately attempts to
bloat out his insignificant "teeny weenie" ego by launching attacks on
certain individuals. We'll probably never know who this individual is
because he doesn't have the courage to identify himself and defend his
totally fallacious belief system in a true open forum. The pattern of
immaturity and hatefulness suggests edward mcsweegan, who has all the
time in the world assuming he still has his cake job at NIH wherein he
sits around and makes coffee for everyone in between getting his nose
browned courtesy of allen steere. However, it could be anyone.
The question WHY? comes to mind. Clearly weisman has a vested interest
in the LD debate. Nobody is going to launch these sorts of attacks
specifically targeting lyme patients just for no reason. A flamer could
choose many forums but lyme patients are too specific. Weisman has
never had lyme disease-if he had, he wouldn't be doing this, for
obvious reasons. The conclusion is that weisman is an angry pathetic
human being, another steerite, who is experiencing a psychopathology
which is engendered by the realization that his views, the basis of his
greed and the foundation of his utter selfishness, are being turned end
up by the progress of science as manifested by the efforts of fallon,
preac musac,staubinger, etc. Weisman may think of himself as a
scientist, but a scientist has the humility to admit when he is wrong.
He is no scientist. Steere is no scientist. These people are best
conceived of as completely self-absorbed psychopathic wild beasts who
when backed into a corner lash out blindly at whatever is cornering
them. In this case it is us, the standard bearers of bad news. When
reason fails, as it inevitably will with avaricious ogres who are
scared to death of being discredited and losing a revenue stream, the
only response is to figuratively stomp on their throats before kicking
them into the garbage pail of history. Enjoy the stench, pal. But I'm
sure you're used to it by now. I don't believe in god but if there is
one, you're going to roast in hell.

Years ago, I saw a writeup of ways specific people were making huge
amounts of money from our suffering. I've looked for it and have been
unable to find it again.
That old Conflicts of Interest Report may shed light on some of the
details but it's been taken down from the LDA site.
