are the epidimiologic criteria for the clinical definition of a case of
lyme disease. Those are the criteria that must be met in order to
report a case. Those criteria should not be used to make the clinical
diagnosis of Lyme disease. They were never intended for such use...it's
a tracking technique. It's not a diagnostic criteria...I do not make a
diagnosis of Lyme disease based on the numbers."
