Please, for our convenience, mention which group(s) you tend to post to
so I don't continue to crosspost...however, if kathleen were to post
what you just mentioned , I'd tolerate it because it shows a relevance
of information to autism. Most of her posts do not mention autism at
all. Most posts do not seem to mention the challenges of her autism as
related to it.
I do find that too many people will be turned away from support here if
all they find is lyme and nothing autism related. Much seems off topic.
Her cause will cause other causes to suffer. (if that makes sense)
unless it addresses the group's topic. Most if not all of us are not
suffering the effects of classic lyme disease. I don't think it's
responsible for any nor close to anywhere near all the cases of autism.
There is a strong and peer reviewed body of evidence for genetics being
the primary etiology of autism. Twin studies provide high correlations
and the fact it is found more often in males seems to indicate that
part of it is sex linked. Separated twin studies even show this so you
can't blame a tick laden cradle for twin lyme autism....
