Re: Phyllis: Activists Say YIKES We need to KILL the MD BILL! LOL

say you have an internal medicine specialist. He hears about lyme
disease, becomes an LLMD, etc. Is he able to make more money this way?
I have never myself heard of a doctor who was struggling because he or
she was short on patients, even an osteopath. Even, in my town, a
notorious drunkard and philandering old codger who probably at this
point doesn't know a left pinky toe from a right testicle. I only know
how much my LLMD charges per hour, I don't know how much others charge
or for that matter how much it costs to be misdiagnosed by allen steere
or gary wormser.
It seems to me that if you have a medical practice, you are
comfortably raking in low 6 figures, why bother with lyme disease and
all the heat you know you're going to face? Of course most doctors now
are in group practice, HMO, corporations, etc, which plays into the
hands of the steerites since with these entities you only have to
convince one person, usually a money grubbing avaricious executive with
an MBA, and all the doctors under them will presumably fall into lyme.
