The above may all be true.

I choose not to use the word for my own reasons.

Including the fact that using it in the current climate tends to
distract from the message you're trying to communicate.

It is the same reason that I didn't choose a screenname like yours as
we've discussed before.

I just think that then the discussion becomes about something other
than the real subject matter.
