That's how people were diagnosed in PreKlempner time........ yeah, I
know its a
"clinical diagnosis", but the reality is that absent the rash, or
months and years later, WB's made the call.
And, in a lot of cases, if a person didn't WB to CDC surveilance
standards, they were not treated.
WB's were also used to eliminate the Lyme diagnosis, again often to CDC
surveilance
standards--ergo the flood of CFIDs, Ms, Lupis, and "nutcases" in
Lymeland.
I would add that not one doctor in 500 knew the difference between BB
specific bands
and those that were not.
