The exit polls showed a landslide win for the Democrats.

I'm afraid the reason they lost was Diebold.

Ireland considered using them for their next elections but their data
security experts said that those machines could have a backdoor in them
(later independently confirmed by a software developer, said he was paid to
create a backdoor).

Ireland asked Diebold for the source code, or, if they did not want to
comply with that (*very* strange that they refused BTW), the possibility of
an audit trail, like paper "vote receipts". They refused both and didn't
seem to care about the lost business.

All your major "news" networks predicted a landslide Democrat victory,
because the exit polls said so and exit polls never lie. They are an
accurate measurement of actual voting that have taken place.

For the first time in US history, all your major "infotainment" networks
PULLED the exit poll data from their websites and DOCTORED them to reflect
the Diebold results, then PUT THEM BACK on their websites. This is
documented all over the web, old version of the CNN website with the
non-doctored, and then the doctored result etc.

Amazing what the neocons can get away with in your country.
