The shame of the whole thing is that the story is probably more true
than false and now the attention is going to be about the part that
they couldn't confirm instead of all the abuses of prisoners at Abu
Ghraib, at Gitmo, at Baghram airbase and all the coverups.

Now we've got the Sadaam pictures violating the Geneva convention.

It reminds me of the Dan Rather story. The whole thing became about one
thing that couldn't be confirmed instead of the fact that George W Bush
pulled strings to evade service, didn't show up, then lied about the
whole thing for four decades and used his henchscum to smear the record
of the guy who volunteered for service and then served with honor and
then returned to patriotically protest the illegal and immoral war all
while Georgie was a cheerleader at Yale.

This administration that lied about wmds that lied about everything is
now attacking newsweek for something they can't confirm? All part of
the coverup of the systematic abuses going on.

We should be ashamed of ourselves. And impeach the moron in chief.
