Isn't it interesting to compare the reactions of the people who
actually knew him to the embarrassingly sad and disgusting comments
that were made here?


bottom line: weld was a pig who promoted ideas which resulted in the
destruction of thousands of lives. if the newspaper comments aren't
strong, it's most likely because it's a puff piece in a local
newspaper, and the individuals speaking are trying to be politically
correct for reasons of diplomacy. but it does point to a certain
philosophy which has been disastrously adopted by lyme leaders, which
is one of conciliation and cooperation with the steerites.

what the lyme patient movement needs is more aggressive leaders who
understand that steerites are committed liars and fraud artists who
must be dealt with harshly. all the more so because of their financial
connections and power base.
