LOL...great cod, you should do one-line stand up...
yeah, what I'd like to see is a roundup of three hundred mice from the
same area in 2005, and see how many test+ for Bb..
another thing, and more importantly, is that the strain is not id'd in
the abstract..usually in these studies they use 16S rna, here they just
used the OspA gene...
What strains came from plum island?
I guess it became important since barbour's 1991 paper (i think)
wherein he noted the sequence homology between ASF and Bb (and
Bhermsii) in a certain segment of plasmid DNA.
ASF was heavily experimented on at plum island, and still is.
There has never - never - been a case of African Swine Fever in North
America. (outside of biowarfare labs, that is)
how many people died of anthrax and tularemia last year in the USA?
zero (or close to it)
How many people contracted lyme disease last year in the USA?
probably 60,000 +
How much money is spent on anthrax research in the USA?
hundreds of millions $$$ of dollars.
it's the worst, most irresponsible allocation of funds in American
history...I wonder if klempner's lab got the special $2,000 toilet
seats the pentagon uses.
Makes me not want to pay taxes.
