Actually, this isn't so. I reacted with giant hives to abx in the past, and I'm not allergic to them. My immunologist says it can well be an endotoxin reaction in the skin.


But that doesn't mean that the OP isn't having a systemic or dangerous reactions to the drug. It should be discussed with the prescribing doctor, not a newsgroup.
