"Der dritte mann", "The Third Man" is the name of a Graham Greene novel

that was made into a classic fim noir, starring Orson Welles, Joseph
Cotten and Trevor Howard, (1949), filmed in postwar Vienna. It is a
deserved 4-star classic. Rent it sometime.


The title character is "Harry Lime" and he is a black market profiteer,

selling diluted penicillin that injures and kills...especially
children...IN VIENNA...you know, like in AUSTRIA? O(e)sterreich?


In the climactic scenes, there is a desperate chase through the
SEWERS. Even a moronic imbecile like yourself might be able to sense
the symbolism.
