I've looked at this site, and it is ludicrous and disgusting.

The obsessional focus on auschwitz, for one thing, is misleading. Some
holocaust experts believe, on good evidence, that more jews may have
been executed at treblinka than auschwitz. The commandants of both of
these camps survived the war, hoss wrote an autobiography before being
executed in 1947, and franz stangl after his recapture in south america
and subsequent imprisonment cooperated on a book, "into this darkness",
in which he detailed many of the operations of treblinka. The original
figures of 3-4 million at auschwitz were given by hoss {the commandant
of auschwitz!!}. In the absence of good records, this estimate was
accepted at first. Later I believe hoss scaled down his estimate to 1.5
million or so. What difference does it make? whether it was 1 million
or 3 million, a lot of jews were gassed. It's almost impossible to come
up with an exact number - this website notes that no records are
available for 1944 - and acts as if this is not a big deal. Well, 1944
was the year in which HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of hungarian jews were
shipped to auschwitz. Hardly any of them survived. There was no
selection for most of these transports. Minimum estimates are that
350,000+ hungarian jews were slaughtered in the summer of 1944 at
auschwitz. The website wonders why the "surviving" 70,000 were not
executed prior to january 1945, but were instead marched off. These
inmates were workers who had survived in selection, and were necessary
as a slave work force for several large inustrial complexes which
produced critical products for the german military, including synthetic
rubber {germany had no means of importing real rubber}. That's why they
weren't killed. the soviet offensive in january of 1945 came as a
surprise to many germans, especially the death camp operators -
remember, hitler himself referred to intelligence warning of a winter
offensive on the vistula as "the greatest imposture since ghengis
khan". and when it did come, there was simply no time to kill the
inmates. It takes a lot of time to kill 70,000 people, especially when
you're primarily concerned with blowing up gas chambers and the like.
The germans had 5 days to clear these camps. and in those 5 days, most
of the guards and camp staff were also thinking of their own safety, as
massive soviet armies were approaching.also himmler by this time had
recognized that the end of the war was near, and thought of these
inmates as potential hostages for the peace dealings which were
obviously right around the corner.

Finally, this website mentions that no gas deaths occurred at a number
of concentration camps such as dauchau and bergen belsen. This sort of
propaganda ignores the basic structure of the nazi death camp
hierarchy. Most of the camps were concentration camps. Only 6 camps -
all in poland - were death camps, where mass gassings took place:
Auschwitz, Treblinka, Madjanek, Sobibor, Belzec, and Chelmno. Jews in
other camps were there simply as slave workers or temporarily until
transport to a gas chamber camp could be arranged.

and all of this gas chamber obsession ignores the hundreds of thousands
to over a million jews in eastern europe {especially poland} and the
former soviet union who were gunned down by the einsatzgruppen in mass
shootings - sometimes 20 - 30 K in a day or two, the extreme examples
being babi yar near kiev, and the "fall harvest" shootings of tens of
thousands of jews in 1943 in eastern poland.

I really don't understand why people feel a need to deny the holocaust.
Is there a problem with political catering to pro-israeli interests in
this country? In my view, yes. But you don't have to deny the holocaust
to advance this sort of agenda. All that does is it makes you look
crazy, and inhuman. Having spent considerable time in poland and other
parts of eastern europe, I am totally convinced without ever having
read books or visiting death camps {although I've also done both
somewhat extensively} that there have been massive reductions in the
jewish populations in these areas. There really are no jews left in
poland, and in areas of the czech republic and hungary you see hardly
any jews, just empty historic jewish quarters of cities and towns.
Where did all these jews go? not to israel.
