Well, yes, actually it does. And if you read over at LymeNUT, you will
occasionally see someone who has a similar problem. It's not all that
uncommon...and what I am trying to tell you is that this disease
affects people differently. Just because you experience some particular
aspect does NOT mean I will...or as severely, either.

In my case, the muscles spasm involuntarily. The problem can be
particularly acute when rising from a seated position. At rest, with
the leg extended, you can sometimes see the muscles twitching
spontaneously...rippling under the skin...(which is pretty freakin'
weird)...

It is probably some sort of myositis. Last time I went to get my
haircut...I fell three times in the shop. (The owner is used to it...he
doesn't have to sweep the hair up when I come in...when I leave, his
floors are clean).

So, you see, not everyone's experiences are identical...and you should
not assume they are...and...as fun as this problem is...it's not nearly
my major concern...this is not what is keeping me from returning to
work.

Well, LOL, if I ever ask for YOUR advice on that...which I did
NOT...you will know that I am all "neuro-Lymed" to the gills...dementia
has set in...and my end is imminent. But thank you, anyway. (I guess).

And you have apparently assumed that I do not exercise...which is
WRONG. I just said that I don't run.

(I just didn't want to describe my situation, physically speaking, for
fear of getting you all aroused).

But understand...exercise actually aggravates this condition...so while
exercise generally may be a good policy...it is not helpful to weaken
someone in this situation. Case by case basis...listen to the
patient...one size does NOT fit all...

Actually, it has been improving, particularly of late. I need the cane
less and less.
