Lisa's Lyme Blog 0003

Today's blog will be short because I am exhausted. Actually today's
blog should be yesterday's blog; it is now well after midnight here in
London. I could not write all day because the hackers prevented me from
accessing the internet all day. In the afternoon the IT security man
came. He eventually removed something the hackers had put on and I can
now access the internet again. However, it took him some hours to
achieve this.

Vera and Judy in UK continue to have severe problems with hacking
activity on their machines. I tried to call several American friends
tonight, and got voicemail each time. Later I found out that at least
one of them was home when I rang, and picked up the phone, but was
unable to hear me.

One individual who is helping me tells me that the US has been setting
up "front" companies in Belgium for illegal intelligence operations.
Needless to say, the Belgian government is not impressed with this.

They would be even less impressed if it turned out that such a company,
or a machine registered to it, was used to launch hackings on private
citizens on behalf of the US, from Belgian soil.

Mark Stroud has detected suspicious internet activity too which we will
look into. The offices of various members of Parliament in UK have been
informed, as well as Amnesty International, and we will be speaking to
other bodies too. I urge anyone in the Lyme community who has reason to
believe their computer, phone or other communications have been
tampered with as a result of their work, research or Lyme activism, or
evern discussions with other Lyme activists by phone or email, to
contact me , and to put evidence of the problem in a safe place, as
well as reporting it to congressmen, human rights groups etc, and on
the internet.
