I have been on this group for many years in the past. I have had
late stage lyme since 1991 and hubby and two out of my four kids were
also diagnosed LATE. Our family has been treated by numerous mds.
Including Phillips, Raxlen,Katz and others. I have been to medical
seminars by Leigner, Fallon, Phillips, Raxlen, Katz, and Jones at a
lyme convention at Norwalk hospital where the lyme vaccine was touted
as the big answer........I knew it was not.........In my hometown
Stamford hospital was doin trials on the vaccine and I knew people who
got the real deal and the placebo. I knew of people who got placebo and
then were entitled to the real deal.........became sick as dogs after
first shot and called the hospital to report their suffering and was
told the study was over. NOW where is that vaccine?
I was a very big supporter, went to Hartford for meeting with
insurance companies with Attorney General Richard Blumenthal and met
with newspaper writers including Stephanie Ramp who wrote some great
articles. It was very scary and these tick borne disease are
devastating. If I had been really new to this board, I would have left
immediately.
Who needs someone attacking people's faith, talking about
pornographic and sexual innuendos? This is not the board for that kind
of talk and I don't know why any of you even answer this person who is
hell bent on upsetting people who are living in great pain, both
physical and mentally. People who have spent thousands upon thousands
for help outside of their insurance coverage. A disease so frightening
and debilatating that lives are ruined and they come to this board for
info and help and have to see this very demented person debasing
humanity and religion. For without Faith and Hope we have nothing.
Off topic helpful things are certainly welcomed, but this
type of interaction and human
debasing is most offensive and not excusable in any way. Is there a
moderator? This group used to be a very helpful, in all my years I have
never encountered such cruelty and crudeness. Debi Procaccini
