Re: How hard is this to understand? Why doesn't the LDA seem to know how to diagnose Lyme disease?

Does anyone but me understand that Primary Care docs don't give a rat's
ass about
all these fine points....The tests come back from the lab with positive
or negative spelled
out..and that's that. Does anyone think that these PC docs have studied
and memorized the
fine points of any kind of testing? Shoot, many screening tests are
far from really acurate. These people look at positive or negative, and
their asses are covered. That's defensive medicine and defensive
medicine rules. The idea that they are passionate sleuths, sorting out
the nuances of disease diagnoisis is almost bazzare. Unless of course
its friend or family or the client is a lawyer. . I don't know what the
LDA position is, but mine is that the IDSA guidelines are so complex
that they are only going to worsen an already tragic
story.
