Yes.. everyone should. That is fine and dandy.. but what you see
posted here now is NOT the WHOLE story. Not by far. And given an
inch.. they will try to take a mile.
What you see is a refined and watered down version of what many of us
have seen ... over and over and over and over again.
Keep in mind some of these people have been tossed off a number of
other discussion groups already for disrespecting the rules and
attacking people.
What I have seen is often vile, inflammatory, mean, not to mention
untrue... and is ONLY intended to try to convince folks that the Lyme
Community needs new leaders... and they feel those who have been doing
all the work should be tossed out on their ear because a handful of
people don't agree with what they are doing.
NEVER in the discussion is their any mention of a better plan that
will move us all forward... or any of them offering to do all the
volunteer work involved in carrying out the new plans .. or even any
of them willing to provide the money to do it.
NEVER is there an offer to help anyone else in reaching our goals..
only a demand to have everyone stop working and move aside to give
room for them to do some sort of take over.
It is kinda like living in a 10th floor apartment and demanding, day
after day, that someone give you an elephant. When you get it.. what
the heck are you going to do with it? If you want something (an
elephant).. before you get it.. you need plans to properly take charge
of it... or you just end up with a 2 ton animal sitting on your head
and no way to move forward and no ability to take care of what needs
to be done.
Watching this unfold is like watching a free-for-all "bash" session
where a couple people are saying they want change.. and that
everything being done is wrong.... and that what we are doing is not
getting us anywhere.. and nobody likes me or listens to me.. etc. etc.
MANY people have asked them what could be done to make things better
and NEVER has there been an intelligent response to the question... as
they have no plans and no way to carry them out if they made them.
So, in my opinion.. you can bark all you want (but do it elsewhere
PLEASE)..
