Because we live in a democratic society...and this is part of a
democratic process.

People who do not agree have the right to express dissenting opinions.

Just because I was bitten by a tick...that does not automatically make
Pat Smith or anyone else my "leader".

What she and like-minded others choose to do in my name may affect me,
though...even negatively...and there is little that I can do,
seemingly, except express my dissenting opinion.

I didn't vote for you.

Don't assume because YOU decide to take a certain course of action,
that everyone else should fall in line and be thankful for what YOU
decide to do without asking me.

If you can't take the heat...then get the hell out of the kitchen...
