KITTANNING, Pennsylvania (AP) -- A woman who tried to steal a fetus by
knocking her pregnant neighbor unconscious with a baseball bat and
cutting her abdomen was sentenced Tuesday to 22 to 50 years in prison.
Believe it or not, this seemingly bizarre behavior has unfortunately
surfaced several times in the recent past.
There was a sensational case around here a year or so ago...
"On September 25, 2006, newspapers across the country reported that
the latest fetal snatching incident, perpetrated in Illinois, was much
worse than first believed. Twenty-four-year-old Tiffany Hall, the
suspect, talked about what she had done in a desperate attempt to
acquire a baby for herself".
