It is becoming obvious that LDA and Lymenet may well be one in the
same. >>>
No disrespect, but it's a well known fact for people who have looked
or been around long enough to figure it out. <g>
Just try (politely) asking some 'hard' questions on Lymenet about LDA
and see who jumps on you. LOL
My question here, though, is:
Are LDA/lymenet and ILADS in bed together (metaphorically speaking)?>>>>
That I'm not as sure about. I know that ILADS is mindful of the LDA----
but 'in bed with'? I'd like to see more real evidence before making up
my mind about that. And even if they are---- perhaps it doesn't always
result in poor tx given a patient. (I may be biased, because I have a
lot of confidence in my llmd.)

<<<<<<Well...the LDA is a non-profit. ILADS members are for profit.
Igenex
is a privately run laboratory. Also for profit.>>>>>>
I'm not critical of any one or any business operating for a profit.
<g>
<<<If you look at the above, you see Pat Smith, of the LDA, and Nick
Harris, of Igenex, sitting on the board of ILADS.>>>>
<<<<They are almost always told to get tested by Igenex and treated by
an
ILADS doc...only.
?That relationship, in theory, has real, tangible economic benefit to
some people. >>>>>>
Yes, they are on the same board and, ditto on my comment above about
operating for profit.
Again, strange bed fellows may not always be a recipe for collusion.
I don't know, so please don't interpret that as 'across the board'
approval or denial <g>
I just mean----- where else should Nick 'sit' if not on the board of
ILADS? It's possible that his input is valuable.
How can a private lab operate if it doesn't make a profit?
There may be other labs that are just as good. Again, I don't know.
But they would probably be gov't funded (gack! <g>) or private. I
don't any lab around operates out of the goodness of their heart. <g>
<<<<Ms. Smith of the LDA has been told about the situation with
Bach>>>>
In a perfect world---- the LDA would keep us apprised of what their
(our) money and efforts are doing.
That would be great. OTOH---- can you imagine the time and effort and
the personnel needed to answer questions asked by the Faerie Dust Kids
or their cousins. LOL
However Ms. Smith has shown that she's not 'into' keeping au courant
with all the financial doings of LDA. Snort!! <g>
