But if you look at other Lyme disease boards, you will often see her
quoted and people saying that she is "right" about this or that. You
see, it leads to a paranoid-conspiratorial mindset.
And when you say that this is a "bizarre place"...it didn't used to
be. Search the archives. There were bright people here with good
ideas. She destroyed it.
Look at it now. She crowds it wall-to-wall with her obsessive off-
topic tirades.
WHAT would you suggest, here? Would you like to show us what should be
done? Are you sure that you aren't blaming people who are objecting
again?
And...what about the anti-Semitism? In another thread, I think I
mentioned the difficulty historians have had with this issue and how
it intersected the Nazi hierarchy. Does her instability EXCUSE her
behavior? I 'm not sure we can say that. Are you?

and angry.

I have no doubt that she would like you to keep doing what
you're doing. You are doing a great job of making yourself look like
an obssessive compulsive with anger issues, even if you are not. I
agree that Kathleen's racist taunts are a good reason to be very angry
at her. However, since she is so clearly mentally ill, when you get
down in the mud with her, you look the same. Is that what you want?
I think you alone are her best audience. Congratulations.
Uh...how about perception issues? How about the impact that her stuff
has on others? How much of the "activist" movement with Lyme disease
feeds off her instability? Hmmm? Has it occurred to you that there
might be legitimate reasons for what you see?
Have you considered that someone NEEDS to object?
By the way, yes I do I have a fair bit of knowledge about psychology.
Great. Wouldn't it be better if you kept those opinions about others
to yourself until asked?
Both Cow and Third, thank you for your comments on lyme treatment. I
too am on antibiotics, doxy for now, which has helped. I have
bartenella, thougt, so I am going to start treating that soon. I am
getting impatient with having lyme. Too bad I wasn't one of those
people who are treated in a couple of months. How long did it take
you to feel better and are you lyme-free?
10 years. If you read what I said. I was misdiagnosed for two before
being treated.
I also would like to say that Sarah did a very difficult thing by
posting that letter to Kathleen.
Yes. But now you should see the difficulty here and why this business
with Kathleen's status is so problematic.
But I did NOT set out to embarrass or attack Sarah, here. I merely
mentioned that what she said in regard to "not knowing"' about this
was untrue. The ONLY reason I did so was because I was involved. It
was an unfortunate situation that reflected upon MY integrity if what
she said was true. It wasn't. And THAT was NOT my fault.
See, from a larger perspective, a LOT of people have denied...have
looked the other way. "Cognitve dissonance", isn't that what it's
called?
Perhaps since Sarah wasn't nasty and
confrontational, some of it might have made its way inside Kathleen's
head.

everyone to say exactly what you want them to say. I don't think
Sarah was interested in a long "conversation" about Isreal/Palastine
with Kathleen, it's not possible, I think she used it in trying to
convince Kathleen that all the world's evil is not done by Jews.
I was glad to see that Third Man was able to appreciate how difficult
it seemed for Sarah to write that post to Kathleen. Hopefully, others
will eventually be able to understand that all human beings are
complicated. I am also, by the way Cow, not aware that disagreeing
with Isreal's military actions make one a anti-semite. Further, that
was pretty creepy,
Cow, that you would actually look up the city in
which Sarah lives. It reminds me, again, of inappropriately obsessive
behavior. It's okay to disagree. Really.
NO. Again, your relative newness here is leading you to incorrect
conclusions.
Sarah has mentioned this online many times. Relax. Basically everyone
who has been around for awhile knows this.
You should really not leap to these type of conclusions.
I hope all is well and you all have a more positive, productive day.
Could you possibly try to give others the credit of being reasonably
intelligent and having thought-out what they are doing? Consider the
possibility that they may have reasons for their actions?
Again, thanks for your input...but maybe you would like to become
somewhat more familiar with the issues involved and the personalities
before reaching conclusions and then delivering them from on high?
