Well, I have been around for much longer than that, unfortunately.
Could you, perhaps, be more specific, please? Where i stand in regard
to what issues? As you know, there are a lot of them out there.

I've had this disease longer than that...so the 'unfortunately' part
is understood.

OK, well, lets start simple (riiiight). ILADS. How are you feeling
about ILADS, long term antibiotic treatment, and the more
'alternative' turn ILADS has been taking as well...

be the best judge of such things.

Again, on all of what? Could you be more specific? Persistence?
Political action? Conspiracies? is Dr. B. a "hunk"? What?

IS Dr. B a hunk? I had no idea. I've never seen him. Maybe I need
to...I mean, if he is, after all, a hunk.

I think conspiracies exist but generally those conspiring don't
consider themselves to be doing so. Much of it is perception. I also
think some are completely bogus, though I always reserve the right to
play devil's advocate, and sometimes do not announce when I am doing
so...its more fun that way. Anyway, there are always bad eggs nomatter
where you go and people with screwed up motives. I'm not delusional
about it, though. I'm not into 9/11 conspiracies or anything like
that. I'm not very politically motivated. Do I think the world is out
to get me? No. I don't think I am that important in the whole sceme of
things. I wouldn't want to be.

As for the other stuff...Lyme related stuff. I KNOW that's broad. If
you want to scare me away, just start talking Cowden Protocol or
Rifing and you're sure to chase me away...no worries, I'm already
giving you your 'out'. More like...what have you taken? Whats
realistic in your opinion for treatment? WIll the Giants win the
Superbowl?

That was written in a fit of frustration and total exasperation.


Oh, I have those daily. I'm a computer geek by trade. I am surrounded
by idiots. I, personally, can be exasperating. I knew that.

But, you do undestand, don't you, that she is claiming that the "Lyme
Cabal" are Jews and it is the "Jews" who have done this, don't you?
Messed up Lyme?

 I would suggest that there are moral issues for remaining silent in
the face of something like that.

Also political issues.

Politically, you need to get as far away from someone like that as
possible. And ASAP, too.

Hmmm...I see your point. I do. I also know some people who died in
combat for her right to do that I think it would be my own personal
moral obligation to speak up IF I thought she was in danger of taking
an UZI to the local mall or yelling fire in a crowded theater. Until
then, its sticks and stones...with some paranoia and spamming.

The spamming is obvious, and actually easier to ignore when SOMEONE
DOESN'T CHANGE THE TITLE OF THE SPAM. I feel bad that Sarah's feelings
were hurt by it. But isn't it more about a human being with paranoia
than it is about Jewish people anyway? I know she's blaming Jewish
people. I think you could insert "Purple People" in there and it
wouldn't make a difference. She just needs a target for the anger.

Do I think it is ever right to spew hate? No, of course not. I'm not a
hate monger, at all. If I thought Kathleen was 100% sane, I would
think her disgusting. Oddly, however, I don't see it that way. I see
the behavior as very inappropriate. I also see it coming from some
sort of brain damage...I'm not a doctor to say mental or
physical...and I won't stigmatize it. Tell me this...in your opinion,
3rd, is she currently a danger to herself or others?

Can you take a constructive outside criticism of how its being
handled? Its not a slam, just an outside observation. The more she
gets cussed at for doing it, the more she's going to do it. Trust me
there. Paranoia, which is awful, probably with crushing anger and
anxiety, coupled with too much pride is what this is about. The mental
illness stigma going on here that's not helping, either. You cannot
shield people from what she says not can you protect people's feelings
from being hurt from it. And you shouldn't try. Allow people to choose
whether they want to see it. They have the liberty to walk. Many have.
Why are YOU here?

Now, you have mentioned her hurting the Lyme 'cause'. ((Was it you who
said that? I think so. Anyway...)) I think Kathleen has less of an
impact on Lymeland and on Lymenut than you think...at least now. Noobs
are not looking here, or to Kathleen, for guidance. (Good reason to
rethink what battles you really need to fight, Kathleen. You aren't
having the impact you could have if you toned it down.)

Sure, we have discussed it on Europe. But Lymenut USA is just
that...nuts. There are people there who make Kathleen look pretty
sane. AND what's more, they aren't interested in her articles on outer
surface protiens or relapsing fever or that she cataloged Steere
research. Steere had some GREAT research he ignores and that Lymenut
ignores.

Lymenut would ignore it just because his name is on it. They are more
interested in rubbing balloons on their heads to detox and chanting I
HATE THE IDSA without ever knowing WHY. So, truth is, you add to the
delusion when you mention she hurts the cause. No one is listenning
anymore. They are too busy listenning to better health guy because
someone who says its an incurable infection and a relapsing fever is
not in line with the fluffy 'positive' useless crap being spewed at
Lymenut. If she had a lucid moment she'd be banned in under 30
minutes, just talking about Lyme. I promise you that. Lymenut didn't
point me here or to her site. I found that on my own. Its human nature
to be morbidly intrigued. You understand. Because you post here.

I'm sorry if we disagree, and that's cool if we do, but I hope you at
least allow my thoughts on this to adsorb and turn them over BEFORE
dismissing it.
