Re: IV ABX Study for Psychosis

Then you'll know why one of my favorite song lyrics/quotes is:

"Well the first days are the hardest days don't you worry anymore,
'cause when life looks like Easy Street there is danger at your
door...."

Anyway...saw them with Bruce Hornsby at the Garden in **I think** 1991.
Its kinda hazy now as to when that took place.

I wonder why?

Anyway...

I AM brunette. Go figure. Fine, wavy brown hair, blue eyes. Lol But...uh...
no. Not posting a pic here. That's just asking for trouble. No
disrespect to Sarah, but I'm not giving up my identity here. Or
anywhere else except to a few select people!! Maybe when I know you
better, Bart, you can get on the list. For now, I don't need chuck
drooling over me or whatever it is he would do with a picture. I
shudder to think...

Anyway...Lyme Disease...(why we are here!) and other assorted TBI's...
whatever they are...and studies....

Can someone call Fallon and ask him to do an experiment with the IVIG?
He's already shown people relapse after IV abx without oral follow-up.
I suspect the same will happen in this study. I don't like being
'excluded' because of not doing IV abx from studies that might impact
me. He sure places a LOT of weight on having had the IV for neuro
stuff. I'm sure he knows something I don't know (many 'somethings', in
fact) about why he chooses to put so much emphasis on IV abx. I really
think there has to be another avenue...either in conjunction with abx or
afterward to control/halt the immune process of the disease. I am OK
with having damage done that might not get better. I just want to halt
the progression and not get worse...and not ever have to go back to
where I was a few years ago.

Also, on another thread, you all were talking about serial ELISAs. And
that most doctors don't do that. While that seems true from what I
have read in my desire to become more literate, my GP does do that.
Until I stopped seeing him for the Lyme and went to the LLMD (because
he would treat long term BUT only with doxy), he ran an ELISA on me
every month. I think he is mistaken using that to monitor my progress,
from what I have read, but its interesting to me because the 4 ELISA
tests I had were all positive, all above 2 and 3 for the titer over
the course of 4 months. I wonder if there is documentation I can give
him about whether or not that's really helping him monitor his
patients...do you know?
