Dana,
In the earlier years I could drink, though it did make me more prone
to flu like illness. I never thought anything of it till years later.
However, during times of active disease, and for the last decade ot
so, I have a very very very very exaggerated hang over. From very
little. So, I don't drink anymore at all. Its not worth it. I think
that the contraindication is more due to overwhelming patient
experience with this than it is a sceintificly proven
contraindication.
