And here's an example of why this is such a pointless pursuit...
...look carefully at the statement that you attributed to Dattwyler:
=============================================
"Treatment is often
delayed due to improper diagnosis with the deleterious effect that
the
infection proceeds to a chronic condition, where treatment with
antibiotics is often not useful'.

Now...see where it says, "...the infection proceeds to a chronic
condition"?
What, exactly, is the "condition" referred to as being "chronic"?
Is it the 'infection' referred to earlier in the sentence? Or
something else, entirely? Do you really "KNOW"?
Under normal rules of English construction, you would think that
"condition" is meant to refer back to "infection", wouldn't you?
But what if it is just a grammatical error?
Suppose you get Dattwyler in a deposition and show him this...and he
says, "oh, but see...the 'condition' isn't referring to the
'infection...it just means what it says, a chronic situation where
treatment with antibiotics are not useful"?
You see?
And what is the objective here, anyway?
What are you trying to prove?
