Darling, dearest sweetie pie of my heart--one of the reasons for a lot
of major labor unrest is how restrictive, increasingly costly and
problematic healthcare through employment is for more and more
Americans. And for those of us in the non-profit and small business
world, the costs are just beyond the income altogether.

The system is NOT working. It is falling apart. Partly because of a
lack of a single payer healthcare system. Partly because of the abuse
of the patent system. And a lot because the industry is out of control
in prices they charge for medications, diagnostics, procedures,
devices, etc. It's obscenely unbalanced.
