Sometimes the companies that sell them can be helpful with such info,
if you have the patience to get thru to the right people.

Pick your favorite brands, search their webpages and e-mail or call their
QC lab or Customer Relations or similar.

Legal Sea Foods (Boston, New York. Washington, ... Florida) have QC labs
where they test for toxins and freshness. Maybe their lab techs know
where to find the sardine info. 1-800-EAT-FISH (in the US).
