Don, please do not misconstrue my message as defending junk food
corporations, which I consider evil.

But, advertising is not necessarily as all powerful as you may
think. All that is necessary to be immune to it is not watching TV.
TV is designed to make people stuipd and receptive to advertising.

Similarly, all that is necessary to be safe from junk food
corporations as far as nutrition is concerned, is not eating junk
food.
