Again just go ahead and ignore the fact that so many parents are
irresponsible and unfit. Does that mean that their children must
suffer? OF COURSE the responsibility lies with the parents!!! BUT
THAT DOES NOT MAKE IT SO! That does not change the fact that some
parents are simply not responsible. So you are saying oh well those
kids are fucked, too bad?? That is exactly what you and others are
saying. Not to mention the children that have no parents in the first
place. Many unfit parents simply cave into their childrens nagging
because they dont give a *** they just want to shut their kids up.
It is those children who need to be protected from unethical
advertising. This should not even be an issue at all. The fact that
you call it an "interesting question" is ridiculous. Heaven forbid we
should make those poor innocent corporations who are just trying to
make a buck to feed their families, stop polluting the minds of
innocent children. We would not want their profits to be reduced from
20% to 15% now would we? God forbid they should lose a few million
dollars out of their multi billion dollars of profits. Those poor
screwed children with bad parents that dont care and are not
responsible will just have to suffer. People really need to put this
issue into proper perspective. The profits of these industries are
already out of control and to weigh those out of control profits
against the well being of CHILDREN is fucked up.
