By all means, you can round up some folks to do this study. You'll
probably have difficulty getting it past an institutional review board
since infecting people with HIV would be considered unethical, golly
gee.

I'll bet you thought Tuskegee was a nifty experiment too.

Meantime, by all means. Do your own study. Take a year of CD4 tests
after an HIV test. If you're HIV negative after the year, get yourself
infected. See what happens. Voila! Magical mystery CD4 cell depletion,
you'll get sick and probably die, like most HIV+ denialists. Like
David Pasquarelli.
