I agree that certain substances are (still) much more expensive than
in US, maybe due to lack of competition, since Q10 isn't one of the
fashion drugs yet. BTW, you can also buy skin anti-aging cremes with
Q10 - I wonder how the Q10 will penetrate through the skin to the
innards of the cells?
But let's remember your original posting.

I wonder where you get all this detailed knowledge about the
situtation in Germany from. Living in Germany, I could not find any
confirmation for your claims. Please tell me which dose of zinc has
risen from USD 4 to USD 52. Please tell me which Echinacea product has
risen from USD 14 to USD 153, and please tell me which of this stuff
(zinc and echninacea) is available on prescription only - you can
easily find both in any german health/wellness shop. Please tell me
how come (chewable) tablets with 500mg vit C are still available in
supermarkets (and dissolving tablets with 1000mg in pharmacies WITHOUT
prescription), and how come I can buy a container with 100gr vit C
powder for a very reasonable price (EUR 1.99/USD 2.50) etc etc.
BTW here is a price list of a german on-line pharmacy for different
zinc products:
http://www.apotheke.de/katalog/indexZ245.html
and for Echinacea products:
http://www.apotheke.de/katalog/indexE0.html
They also sell stuff which needs a prescription. Please let me know if
you find a price tag which is just in the order of magnitude as
claimed in the posting you confirmed.
Also, even if this stuff would be classified as 'drug', you do not
need necessarily a prescription. In Germany we have two categories of
drugs: non-prescription and prescription. ASS, for example, is a
non-prescription drug in Germany and available in pharmacies for ANY
customer who wants it with doses up to 500mg per tablet.
I really wonder who is spreading propaganda (or even lies) and who is
stating facts in this thread. For a careful reader this should not be
hard to tell.
