Thats not surprising that berkely doesn't have anything on it.I bet they
don't have anything on olive oil extract either. I've copied and paste a bit
of info on it for you John.
If you had read the Book "the comparitive guide to nutritonal supplements"
you will find that it was a key element in any worthwhile supplement
according to
the nutritional experts he based his comparison too.

a.. N-acetyl-L-cysteine has been used in the treatment of acetaminophen
overdose, chronic lung disorders; HIV (where it has been shown to enhance
human T-cell function and survival), and hepatitis B (where is has been
shown to inhibit hepatitis B replication). It has been further used as a
chemopreventative agent in cancer research.
