I'll bet you never heard of the persorption phenomenon, which is hard
starch particles getting into the bloodstream, right? Well that
doesn't mean people are being effected by it. Just because the
mainstream media, the head of the NIH, etc., and yoiur local doctor
aren't talking about it doesn't mean it doesn't exist or isn't doing
damage. My point is that "medicine" is a gross profession (in more
ways that one). Here, I use the term to mean that they only look at
obvious, often life-threatening problems. But they don't care about
what leads up to the "disease" - prevention is a joke to many doctors.
That is what Hans Selye was talking about. Once you are "afflicted
with disease," who knows what the best course of action is? There are
few controlled studies that are right on point. If you ate a diet that
I advocate, it might be much better than taking the toxic drugs that
are being prescribed like candy these days, but we won't know any time
soon, because no studies are being done on this point. Fortunately,
what is known is that millions of people on diets very high in
saturated fatty acids (and with very high cholesterol levels -
according to the latest government pronouncements) live long lives with
almost no "chronic disease" and yet have no better than rudimentary
health care systems. Live and learn, or don't and die.
