MMu,
Thanks for the reply. Frankly, I don't trust scientific studies that
purport to prove the inefficacy of natural vitamin, mineral and herb
supplements. It's very clear that Big Science, bankrolled by Big Pharma
and their protectors in the research establishment, has an agenda to
put the natural health sector out of business. Operating now under the
guise of Codex, what you have is Big Pharma pulling the strings of the
regulators (and doubtless doing more than that) to get what they've
always wanted--the destruction of Natural Health, their detested
competitors.
So, that said, I have read that zinc is necessary for Evening Primrose
Oil and Flax Oil and other Alpha-Omega acid containing foods to
synthesize the good healing stuff (whatever it's called, I forget) in
your body. That's why I'm taking zinc.
And I must tell you that since starting Evening Primrose Oil, Flax
Seeds and Zinc just three days ago, I have noticed a dramatic
improvement in my eczema. Dramatic with a capital D. This is a problem
I've had for over a year, and before I started taking these substances,
it was spreading rapidly. Now it's stopped dead in its tracks and is
fading away, replaced by normal, healthy skin.
And, yes, I know that EPO has also been debunked by the "scientists."
But there you have it.
Now I would still like to find a way to boost my copper intake.
