Re: high cholesterol and use of flax seeds or other foods
Bile is produced in the liver from cholesterol. This takes up most
cholesterol in the body. Vitamin C is needed for this process to work.
Without enough vitamin C, the cholesterol hangs around and forms
'liver-stones' , some of these end up in the gall bladder and enlarge
until docs are called in to cut them out. With enough vitamin C in your
diet, (only achieved through supplementation), you use up the
cholesterol so the stones don't form.
